Slime Party UK is a company that started from a simple idea and has grown into something truly incredible. When Ruby's daughters were trying to make slime in the kitchen, no one could have guessed that in just a few years time that afternoon activity would turn into a business that was stocked in shops all over the world...
The textures of Sensory & Cloud putty are VERY different.
Sensory putty has a butterslime style texture, its thick and soft making it very holdable and mouldable, its perfect for swirling and squishing. Sensory putty is air reactive, which means if its left out of the jar it will dry up.
Cloud Putty has a cloudslime texture, It is unbelievably stretchy and when you remove it from the jar if you start doing slow pulls to begin with whilst the putty warms up you will soon see how much it can floof up and drizzle. Cloud putty doesn't dry out but should always be returned to the jar after play.
Overtime sensory putty can become stiff but there are ways to try and fix this. You can add glycerine which is fantastic for softening the putty, but if you don't have any glycerine, body lotion will also work as that contains glycerine. Just add a blob and knead it in thoroughly.
Another tip to help the longevity of your sensory putty is to not add the sprinkles to all the sensory putty, try adding them to just half.
Ok, so lets be honest, however mess free a product is, if a child is determined, they can still cause a mess (basing this on my own personal experience of having 4 daughters)
Our putties, both sensory and cloud aren't sticky or gloopy like traditional slimes, they are holdable and if you drop them on the floor you can pick them straight back up. We would still advice using commonsense though, as with any silmilar activity, such as don't play with putty on carpet or fabrics...or on the dogs back, don't eat it, stick it up your nose and please don't throw it at the celing.
As with any activity for children we recommend that they are supervised at all times, some items may contain small parts and therefore present a choking hazard if swallowed.
All our sensory putties are shelf stable so can be bought in advance.
